Pharmacies go on strike: Health security under serious threat

NNA – Pharmacies on Friday adhered to a decision to go on full strike, as had been called forth by the gathering of pharmacists “to protest the deteriorating availability and soaring cost of medicine, as well as to capitalize on the fact that the country’s health security is under serious threat.” 

Consequently, most pharmacies in various Lebanese governorates closed their doors, yet a very small number violated these closures, according to our correspondent.
