Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Monday announced 1647 new infections registered within the past 24 hours, including 66 new COVID-19 hospitalisations.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in the country goes to 324,085. One new death was reported in the past 24 hours.

‘The total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported in the country now stands at 4,129,’ an MoH statement said. The ministry added that 729 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 306,404.

‘There were 66 new hospitalisations in the last 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 patients currently in health institutions is 194, including 22 in intensive care units (ICUs),’ it stated.
