Muscat celebrates graduation of 15th batch of specialised doctors



MUSCAT: The Oman Medical Specialisation Council marked a significant milestone as it celebrated the graduation of the 15th batch of doctors who successfully completed their training within the Council.The training period ranged from four to six academic years for specialised training programmes and two to three years for local fellowships. The ceremony took place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.A total of 120 male and female graduates comprised this batch, specialising in three fields for local fellowships: cardiology for adults, genetic medicine, and hematology and oncology for children. Additionally, graduates excelled in 17 medical specialties, including anesthesia, dermatology, ear, nose and throat surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, and dentistry.

Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, presented certificates at graduation of the 15th batch of doctors.
