Oman’s health ministry appeals to blood donors

The Ministry of Health has called on blood donors who meet the set requirements to urgently donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher or any reference hospital

The post Oman’s health ministry appeals to blood donors appeared first on The Arabian Stories News.Muscat – “If you have the ability and desire to donate blood and the following conditions apply to you, donate at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher or any reference hospital in the state,” stated the Health Ministry.As per the conditions, donors should be aged between 18 and 65 years, weigh at least 59 kilograms, have normal blood pressure, and the hemoglobin level should not be less than 13 grams/dL for men, and not less than 12 grams/dL for women. Besides, there should be no barriers to donation.“The need for safe blood is continuous and permanent and is not limited to emergency cases only,” the Ministry added.
