This considerable growth, compared to the OMR 161,262,000 recorded in the corresponding period of 2022, underscores the resilience and appeal of Oman’s tourism industry.In a parallel trajectory, the total number of hotel guests witnessed a robust increase of 30.3%. The end of November 2023 saw a record-breaking 1 million and 883 thousand and 993 guests, a significant uptick from the 1 million and 446 thousand and 189 guests in the same period in 2022.Omani guests increased by 11.3%, totalling 716,000 and 585, while Gulf guests saw a substantial 27.9% rise, reaching 185,671. European guests experienced a remarkable 47.1% surge, recording 447,033 visitors.Oman’s hospitality extended globally, with a 35.6% increase in guests from the African continent, totalling 10,588.
