Sayyid Fahd receives Syrian Health Minister

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, on Sunday received Dr. Hassan Al Ghabbash, Health Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic, who is currently visiting the Sultanate. HH Sayyid Fahd welcomed Al Ghabbash, who conveyed the greetings of President Bashar Al Assad of Syrian Arab Republic to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik. The meeting touched on bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Syria. HH Sayyid Fahd expressed his best wishes to the Syrian leadership and wished the Syrian people further progress and prosperity. Al Ghabbash spoke about current developments in the regional arena and efforts to handle them in a manner that realizes the interests of all.
