Arab world’s largest patient safety conference to be held in March – The Peninsula

The largest conference in the Arab world dedicated to healthcare quality improvement and patient safety is expected to gather more than 3,000 healthcare leaders and practitioners from Qatar and across the region.

The Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare 2023 will be held from March 16 to 19 in Doha. The hybrid event is being hosted by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), in collaboration with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI).

The annual conference’s this year theme is ‘Healthcare Resilience in Extraordinary Times’, and it will focus on improvement science, person-centred care, flow, safety and value improvement, Leadership, Resilience and Sustainability and Population Health, HMC has announced.

“By popular demand, the abstract submission deadline (for the Forum) has been extended until January 14,” HMC said on its official twitter page.

With an unrivalled line-up of international and local experts this year’s forum will connect both in-person and virtually nurses, quality leaders, healthcare administrators, hospital executives, patient and family advisers and other allied health professionals.
