The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported today 120 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 among community and 26 among travellers.

The MOPH recorded 89 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 239,054.

The MoPH issued a statement on Covid-19 developments in Qatar, which said the following:

New Cases and Recoveries:

- 120 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 among community and 26 among travellers.

- 89 people have recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 239,054.

National Covid-19 Vaccination Program Data:

- 4,889,583 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the program.

- 5,475 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the past 24 hours.

- 84.9 percent of the total population are now fully vaccinated with two doses.

Current Covid-19 Status:

- In recent weeks the combined impact of Covid-19 restrictions and increasing vaccination rates, and the overwhelming support of the community, has resulted in a consistent reduction in the number of new daily infections in the country.
