MoPH reports 4,169 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported Tuesday 3,573 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 among community and 596 among travelers.

The MoPH recorded 828 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 249,607.

The ministry recorded two deaths aged 57 and 91, who had chronic diseases and received the necessary medical care.

The MoPH issued a statement on Covid-19 developments in Qatar, which said the following:

New Cases and Recoveries:

- 3,573 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 among community and 596 among travelers.

- 828 people have recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 249,607.

- The ministry recorded two deaths aged 57 and 91, who had chronic diseases and received the necessary medical care.

National Covid-19 Vaccination Program Data:

- 5,317,308 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the program.

- 20,460 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the past 24 hours.

- 368,543 Covid-19 booster vaccine doses have been administered to date.

- 86.5 percent of the total population are now fully vaccinated with two doses.
