Malaysia foreign minister thanks Saudi Arabia as third plane COVID-19 aid reaches Kuala Lumpur

Saudi Gazette report KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysian Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein has extended sincere thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman on behalf of the Malaysian king and premier for their swift response to a request for coronavirus medical aid. The Malaysian foreign minister thanked Saudi Arabia for the generous aid during a joint conference with the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Malaysia Mahmoud Hussien Saeed Qattan on Friday. The press conference coincided with the arrival of the third aircraft at Kuala Lumpur airport on Friday carrying medical supplies to help Malaysia combat the coronavirus pandemic. The medical aid, which is being delivered by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to Malaysia, comes in the implementation of the directives from King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman following the request from Malaysian Minister for Foreign Affairs Hishammuddin Hussein during his call with the Crown Prince.
