Oman, Saudi Arabia explore cooperation in drug control

MUSCAT: Dr Hilal Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health and Dr Hisham Saad Aljadhey, CEO of Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) reviewed, over a telephone call, areas of joint cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Health and SFDA in the field of assuring the safety, reliability and efficiency of the performance of medical devices and supplies.

The meeting was attended by Dr Said Harib Al Lamki, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs and Dr Mohammed Hamdan Al Rubaiee, Director General of Pharmaceutical Affairs and drug control. - ONA
