Saudi Arabia continues to remain on Abu Dhabi’s coronavirus ‘Green list’

JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia continues to remain on Abu Dhabi's coronavirus “Green List” as the emirate updated it after two weeks.As part of the move, passengers traveling to Abu Dhabi from the Kingdom will be exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after arriving in the emirate, and will only be required to undergo PCR testing upon arrival at the airport.The new list, announced by Abu Dhabi's tourism sector regulator, the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) is an update to the list released on March 8.Apart from Saudi Arabia, other countries, regions and territories included in the updated list are Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Greenland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, and Singapore.The “Green List” only applies to where passengers have arrived in the UAE from, not their citizenship, according to the regulator.Meanwhile, passengers coming from destinations not included in the list need to self-quarantine at home or in a hotel for 10 days.
