UK allocates 300 places for Saudi medical students

RIYADH: The Ministry of Education has announced the allocation of 300 places for Saudi students wishing to further their medical training in the UK. The program is part of the England-KSA International Postgraduate Medical Training Scheme, in association with Health Education England and University Hospitals Birmingham. There are various general and subspecialties available that have been approved by the General Medical Council in Britain and qualify for professional specialties after graduation. Students can apply for the program from Monday until Jan. 2, and training begins in April.
