Abu Dhabi modifies ‘green list’ destinations, adds Australia and removes Kuwait
Abu Dhabi has updated its 'green list' destinations, from where incoming travellers do not require to quarantine.
According to the latest update issued by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi on January 25, Australia, Singapore, Maldives, Falkland Islands and Greenland have been added to the list.
Meanwhile Kuwait, Taipei, Macao, Isle of Man, New Caledonia and Sao Tome and Principe have been removed from the list.
Currently the list includes 17 nations.
Passengers arriving from the green list are exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi and will only be required to undergo PCR testing upon arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport.
The list also only applies to countries passengers are arriving from, rather than citizenship.
Countries, regions, and territories included within the 'green list' will be regularly updated based on international development, a statement said.
Inclusion in the list is subject to strict criteria of health and safety to ensure the well-being of the UAE community.
