The Russian Sputnik V vaccine is 97.8% effective against coronavirus cases in the UAE and fully effective against severe cases, announced the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) based on the data by the UAE's Ministry of Health. Based on the data collected by 8 June 2021, the Russian vaccine was confirmed its 97.8% efficacy among over 81,000 people during the vaccination campaign.
