UAE approves Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use – Roya News English

Sunday, the United Arab Emirates approved the Moderna coronavirus vaccine for emergency use, the health ministry said in a statement.

This makes the Moderna vaccine the fifth vaccine to get approved in the UAE after the Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sputnik V and Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines.

Earlier Sunday, the UAE became the world’s 'most vaccinated' nation, followed by Seychelles, according to Bloomberg’s vaccine tracker.
