UAE reports 626 Covid-19 cases, 1,994 recoveries

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 626 Covid-19 cases on February 22. The new infections were detected, after 470,793 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 1,994 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 823,015. One death due to Covid complications was also recorded, increasing the related death toll to 2,297. The nationwide case count has now risen to 875,884.
