UAE to gradually lift COVID-19 restrictions – Roya News English
The United Arab Emirates will gradually lift COVID-19 restrictions imposed to combat the spread of the virus, as the number of infections and hospitalizations has gone down, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Wednesday.
Venues will be allowed to function at maximum capacity by mid-February, it said, citing the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
Wednesday, the UAE reported 1,538 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 862,514.
