Biden announces new $100 million to support Palestinian hospital network – Roya News English

Friday, US President Joe Biden said that the United States has provided $85 million to East Jerusalem hospitals, while announcing an additional $100 million to support a Palestinian hospital network.

Biden also welcomed the UAE's contribution of $25 million to the Palestinian health sector, and added that he hopes for other international aid to be provided to the health sector in Palestine.

"Palestinians and Israelis deserve equal measures of freedom, security, prosperity and dignity. And access to health care when you need it, is essential to living a life of dignity for all of us," Biden said during his visits at Augusta Victoria hospital in East Jerusalem.
