Dubai Health Authority launches Seasonal Influenza Vaccination

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced the launch of its Seasonal Influenza Campaign.

The campaign aims to raise awareness among the community about the importance of vaccination“”especially amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr Farida Al Khaja, CEO of DHA's Clinical Support Services and Nursing Sector said that the campaign aims to encourage more members of the community to get vaccinated, especially those who are at a higher risk of developing influenza complications.

She added that to achieve this goal, the DHA revealed that it now offering seasonal influenza vaccination across its primary health care centres and medical fitness centres for AED 50 for all Dubai residents and free of charge for Emirati nationals and residents who are elders aged 65 and above, children below
