UAE COVID-19 cases 1,538, recoveries 1,411

The UAE News Report: The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on October 17 reported 1,538 UAE COVID-19 cases – the highest number so far. The ministry also announced 1,411 recoveries along with four deaths.

The new UAE COVID-19 cases were identified after conducting additional 130,567 tests by the ministry and the total tests stand for more than 11.44 million so far.

Earlier this week, the UAE reported the previous daily highest coronavirus cases at 1,431 cases on October 14. As of October 17, total UAE coronavirus cases stand at 114,387 with 106,354 recoveries. Death toll rises to 459.

The country has witnessed record recoveries of UAE COVID-19 cases on Thursday and Friday with over 1,700 and 1,400 patients, respectively, beating the virus.
