UAE records second consecutive day of no Covid-19 related fatalities
The UAE government recorded no Covid-19 related fatalities over the preceding 24-hours, it said on Sunday, August 2.
This is the second consecutive day that the country has reported zero deaths as a result of the infection.
The death toll in the country therefore remains at 351.

Also, the Ministry of Health and Prevention said on Sunday that 239 new Covid-19 cases were detected.
They were found as a result of the 42,428 tests conducted to screen for the virus.
The total number of infections in the country since the outbreak of the virus stands at 60,999.
The ministry also said that 360 more individuals had recovered from the virus, taking the overall number of recoveries up to 54,615.
