UAE reports 216 Covid-19 cases, 276 recoveries

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Friday reported 216 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 276 recoveries.

The ministry also announced the death of two patients due to complications arising from Covid-19, taking the toll to 356.

The new cases were identified after conducting additional 61,978 tests. This brings the total number of cases to 62,061 and the total recoveries to 56,015.

In a statement, the ministry affirmed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
