New expansion of Gulf Closures opens

Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, the Industry and Commerce Minister, today officially opened the expansion of Gulf Closures, owned by Al Zayani Investments. The event held at the factory, located in the Sitra Industrial Area, was attended by Aptar Group CEO Stephan Tanda and officials.Minister Fakhro underlined the importance of the contributions of national companies to diversifying economic development tools and boosting growth, in line with the ambitious development goals of Bahrain.The minister was briefed on the workflow in the new expansion, which was a result of the strategic partnership between Aptar Closures- a global leader in dispensing closures and active material science solutions, and Gulf Closures. The partnership targets increasing and diversifying production.Gulf Closures was established in 1992 in Bahrain to manufacture plastic closures for the beverage industry to serve the Middle East and surrounding markets. It is a partner to several global and other major local beverage brands in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Levant, and Africa.
