The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, said Spokesman for the Foreign Minister Ahmed Abu Zeid.

They also agreed to move forward towards holding the next session of the joint higher committee between the two sides during the first half of this year, the spokesman further noted.

The spokesman said that FM Shoukry praised the pace of mutual visits between the two countries at the highest levels, as President Abdel Fattah El Sisi visited Minsk in June 2019, while Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko visited Egypt twice in 2017
