Poland seeks to establish industrial zone in Suez Canal corridor

CAIRO - 20 December 2020: Egyptian Ambassador to Poland Hatem Tag el Din discussed on Sunday with Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Paweł Jabłoński ways of boosting bilateral cooperation and meetings between the Suez Canal Economic Zone and Poland's Katowice Province to set up an industrial zone in the Suez Canal corridor.

 

The diplomat referred to the importance Egypt attaches to exchanging high-level visits between officials of the two sides within the coming period to give an impetus to bilateral cooperation, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.

 

He also referred to ongoing consultations with Visegrád Group comprising Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Hungary to set up investment partnership in the domain of converting vehicles to natural gas.
