Third dose increases antibodies, protects – Roya News English

The head of the Health Committee at the National Center for Human Rights Ibrahim Al-Bdour said Thursday that the Delta variant was the main factor behind the third COVID-19 wave which is currently affecting Jordan, expecting that next week will be the peak of the current wave.

Bdour told Roya’s Akhbar Al Sabea that the number of COVID-19 infections in Jordan is ‘on the rise,’ noting that the number of infections depends on the number of daily PCR tests conducted.

He pointed out that the occupancy rates in hospitals across Jordan during the third wave are better than the previous two waves.
