Chambers of Industry chief, Omani delegation discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry Fathi Jaghbeer and an Omani delegation on Thursday discussed means to enhance economic relations between both countries. 

During a meeting with the guest delegation, representing the Oman Investment Authority and a number of Omani companies working in the fields of telecommunications, food industries, logistics and ports, Jaghbeer emphasised the necessity of advancing bilateral economic relations.

Trade exchange between the two countries dropped by 6.5 per cent, during the January-September period, to reach about $95.5 million, Jaghbeer said, noting that the Sultanate ranked 12th among Jordan’s Arab trading partners.
