First factory in China-Oman Industrial City at Duqm opens | Times of Oman

Muscat: The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) has celebrated the opening of the Duqm Hongtong Piping Factory on Monday. A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The Special Economic Zone at Duqm celebrates the opening of the first factory at the China-Oman Industrial City in Duqm called Duqm Hongtong Piping Factory, the first project of its kind established with an Omani-Chinese partnership in the Sultanate of Oman." "The factory specialises in the production of non-metallic pipes made of reinforced polyethylene, which are mainly used in collection networks and transport the output of hydrocarbon fluids," ONA added.
