GFOW launches field programme to introduce Oman’s Social Protection and Labour Laws

The General Federation of Oman Workers (GFOW), alongside government bodies and industry leaders, has implemented the first stage of a field program to educate workers and employers about Oman's Social Protection Law and Labour Law updates.

It also highlights model practices based on the application of the provisions of the Social Protection Law and the Labour Law.

The programme introduces the practical tools and skills necessary to help workers adapt to labour market transitions and challenges; it targets labour syndicates and human resources representatives at private sector companies.

H.E. Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the programme, emphasizing its significance in engaging with business owners and workers to introduce the key provisions of the laws and gather feedback.Nabhan bin
