Mikati meets Industry Minister, Omani Ambassador

NNA - Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati met Wednesday at the Grand Serail with Caretaker Minister of Industry Georges Bouchkian.

The pair reportedly discussed the strike of the public sector's employees.

Mikati held similar talks later with the Caretaker Finance Minister Youssef Khalil.

He also received the Omani Ambassador to Lebanon, Bader Bin Mohammed Al Mantheri, who came to the Grand Serail on a farewell visit upon the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.

 

Mikati has earlier chaired a meeting devoted to reviewing the United Nations' Lebanon Emergency Response Plan, with the participation of Caretaker Energy Minister Walid Fayyad, Caretaker Social Affairs Ministers Hector Hajjar, UN's Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon Najat Rochdi, and Head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Rosaria Bruno.
