Qatar opens its pavilion at Hannover Messe International Industrial Fair

* Qatar pavilion comprises 16 public and private bodies specialised in industrial field

Qatar on Monday inaugurated its pavilion at the Hannover Messe International Industrial Fair 2022, as it is keen to consolidate the principles of economic openness and enhance bilateral cooperation with various strategic partners around the world, especially Germany.

The pavilion was inaugurated by Sultan bin Rashid Al-Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI). The event will conclude on June 2.

The opening ceremony featured the attendance of several Qatari dignitaries, senior officials, and participating businessmen, as well as many leaders and political figures, and a large number of chief executives of major leading industrial companies around the world.

“Qatar’s participation in this year’s Hannover Fair is of great importance, especially as it is the largest international industrial, trade, and investment event, organised physically since the Covid-19 outbreak," al-Khater said.

The country's participation also translates Qatar’s desire to build bridges of communication between government and private industrial bodies in Qatar on the one hand and investors and businessmen from around the world on the other, to establish successful investment partnerships.
