First Milling Company Announces the Commercial Commissioning of its Durum Mill

First Milling Company is pleased to announce the commercial commissioning of its new Durum Mill at Jeddah Plant. The mill will play a key role in expanding the Company’s product portfolio to include Coarse Semolina from Durum Wheat, Fine Semolina from Durum Wheat, Crushed Wheat “Jareesh”, and Peeled Wheat “Harees” to be added to its current product portfolio which includes Flour, Mixes, Bran, and Feed. First Mills aims to expand its scope and increase production capabilities, thereby strengthening its positioning as the first operator of a Durum Mill in the kingdom. This is a significant step towards achieving the Company's vision and future goals. The operation of the Durum Mill is expected to result in a significant increase in the daily production capacity by adding up to 300 tons of Coarse and Fine Semolina Durum Wheat, Crushed Wheat “Jareesh”, and Peeled Wheat “Harees”. The financial effect of this expansion is anticipated to be reflected in the Company’s financial performance in the first half of the year 2024G.
