Future Minerals Forum will convene in Riyadh to shape mining sector

The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the host and convener of the first-ever Future Minerals Forum, has formally unveiled the global event’s detailed program featuring an extensive list of subjects, opportunities and challenges confronting the global mining industry.

The Future Minerals Forum will be held at Riyadh-based King Abdulaziz International Conference Center from January 11 to 13, 2022. The conference, to be held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is the first-of-its-kind in the mining sector at the level of the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.

More than 2,000 persons from over 100 countries, 150 major global investors and 100 prominent international speakers, including a number of ministers concerned with the mining sector, leaders in mining investment worldwide, as well as financial sector leaders, and major heads of state in addition to representatives of mining companies from different countries will participate in the event.

The invitation-only, closed-door Ministerial Mining Roundtable Special Session will headline the Forum’s program on January 11. The session will feature presentations and discussions on topics that are critical to the future of the mining industry.
