Saudi Gazette reportMAKKAH — Prince Saud bin Mishal, deputy emir of the Makkah region, received the heads of the boards of directors of Islamic chambers participating in the Makkah Halal Forum, at the emirate’s headquarters in Jeddah on Wednesday.Prince Saud listened to a briefing on the activities of the forum, which discusses, through more than 10 discussion sessions and 250 meetings, a number of issues and topics related to the halal industry sector in the world.The three-day forum under the slogan “Creativity in the Halal Industry,” is hosted by the Makkah Chamber of Exhibitions and Events Center. It is noteworthy that the forum is organized by Manafea Agreement and the Islamic Chamber for Halal Services (ICHS).The strategic partners of the event are the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, along with the participation of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development.
