‎Minister of Industry launches 4 projects in Jeddah industrial cities

Bandar Alkhorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), launched four industrial projects. The total investment cost of these projects nears SAR 500 million.

The first project is related to Nahdi Medical Co. in Jeddah 2nd Industrial City. It spans 250,000 square meters (sqm) and targets localization of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, perfumes and cosmetics industry, as well as the industry of chilled food with total investments of up to SAR 380 million.

A new production line will be installed at the factory of Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) on a total space of 19,800 sqm.

The third project is located in Jeddah 3rd Industrial City on a total area of 77,000 sqm. It aims to transfer advanced technology and localize the industry of pipes and hoses. The last one spans an area of almost 500,000 sqm. It targets localization of insulators with investments of up to SAR 11 million.
