Saudi minister participates in London roundtable on critical minerals – Saudi Gazette









Saudi Gazette reportLONDON — Saudi Arabia's Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef has participated in the Critical Minerals Ministerial Roundtable Meeting held in London.

He also met with a number of investors and CEOs of British companies and discussed with them increased cooperation to develop mining projects and industries in Saudi Arabia.

Alkhorayef affirmed Saudi Arabia's keenness to apply the best international practices to develop the mining sector, including its mining strategy.

The country's mining investment law is considered one of the best laws in the world in terms of providing geological data and information to investors, enhancing transparency, and promoting environmental, social and governance (ESG).

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 came with the aim of diversifying the national economy, and finding different ways for this diversification by focusing on manufacturing industries in key sectors such as oil and gas, in addition to expanding into new sectors, such as mining, tourism, and others.

The Saudi minister met with a number of British investors and reviewed investment opportunities in industrial and mining sectors.

The meetings also touched on
