4th Industrial Revolution technologies showcased at DEWA exhibition

Dubai, UAE: Innovative programmes that use the 4th Industrial Revolution technologies are being showcased at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) headquarters, where an exhibition has kicked off Wednesday. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), inaugurated the exhibition in conjunction under the theme "UAE Innovates 2023". The exhibition showcases its most prominent programmes to promote its digital transformation process. DEWA also shed light on its initiatives that encourage employees and customers to participate in achieving sustainable development and protecting natural resources. Al Tayer highlighted DEWA’s efforts to enhance its leadership in the areas of sustainability, innovation and future-shaping in all its projects and initiatives to achieve the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050 to provide 100% of Dubai’s total power production capacity from clean energy sources by 2050. This is through focusing on innovation and technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation, and circular economy as key enablers for achieving sustainability.
