HE Dr Sultan Al Jaber leads UAE delegation at GCC industry meetings

Muscat, Oman: His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, led a high-level UAE delegation at a series of meetings attended by GCC ministers of industry and trade. The GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee and GCC Ministerial Committee for Standardization meetings took place in Muscat with the aim of strengthening industrial ties within the GCC and supporting regional sustainable economic development.

The UAE’s delegation included His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Omar Suwaina Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and His Excellency Abdulla Alsaleh, Undersecretary for the Ministry of Economy, as well as representatives from government and private sector entities.

Oman, which is currently president of the GCC Council, chaired meetings for the GCC ministers of trade and industry on Thursday, as well as preparatory sessions on Wednesday involving the undersecretaries of trade and industry to discuss the agenda, latest developments, key topics and reports.
