Helwan Non-Ferrous Industries inks MoU with UAE’s Ducab to produce electric cables

Helwan Company for Non-Ferrous Industries (Factory 63) signed a memorandum of understanding with UAE’s Dubai Cable Company (Ducab) for cooperation in manufacturing medium-voltage cables, according to an official statement on December 27th.

Under the MoU, the two companies will exchange expertise and cooperate in manufacturing electrical cables and wires.

The two companies will establish a joint venture in Egypt to produce medium-voltage cables to fill the import gap, export, and support the Egyptian economy.

CEO of Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Mutawa stated that Ducab was looking forward to cooperating with the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production for its expertise and competencies in the production of electrical cables and its supplements.
