This Make it in the Emirates initiative, aimed at boosting the competitiveness of Emirati products, was announced at the 3rd Make it in the Emirates Forum by Dr. Farah Al Zarooni, Assistant Under-Secretary for Standards and Regulations at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.

Dr. Al Zarooni highlighted that the mark, a national initiative by the Ministry, supports local products, with the food and beverage sector leading the way. “The quality mark for UAE-made products aims to increase consumer confidence in local products,” she added.
