UAE’s Ducab & EtihadWE to bolster country’s power transmission network

UAE’s largest industrial manufacturing business & solution provider, Ducab Group has entered into a new turnkey partnership with Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) in order to strengthen the country’s power transmission network.

The latest collaboration builds on EtihadWE’s efforts to keep pace with urban development in the northern Emirates and meet the future needs of the vital sectors.

The project is expected to conclude in 2023, and Ducab will manage the delivery of 132kV high-voltage transmission lines between several of EtihadWE’s existing Power Stations.

According to the statement, the copper cabling is being entirely sourced, designed, and manufactured within the UAE, utilizing Ducab Group’s comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) capabilities, while proudly championing the ‘Made in the Emirates’ hallmark.
