Bahrain and Jordan sign memorandum of understanding on environmental cooperation | THE DAILY TRIBUNE …

Minister of Oil and Environment, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, has stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen environmental cooperation with Jordan. Also Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Bin Daina was speaking during the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Bahrain and Jordan, which is aimed at enhancing cooperation, as well as exchanging information and experiences in all fields related to the environment.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Bin Daina and Dr. Muawieh Khalid Radaideh, Jordan’s Minister of Environment, on the sidelines of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), hosted by Dubai.
Dr. Bin Daina affirmed the solid fraternal relations between Bahrain and Jordan, noting that the MoU aims to strengthen environmental cooperation between the two kingdoms to confront the challenges of climate change, and achieve environmental security with a scientific methodology.
