Bahrain to host first GCA international conference and exhibition in November

Under the patronage of Oil and Environment Minister, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, the kingdom will host the first Gulf Chemistry Association International Conference and Exhibition (GCA 2022) on November 15-17 at the Gulf Hotel. Themed “Role of Chemistry in Sustainable Energy for Oil and Petrochemical Industries”, GCA 2022 is co-organised by the Gulf Chemists Union (GCU) and The Saudi Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter (SAICSC), in collaboration with Bahrain’s Oil and Environment Ministry, with the participation of renowned chemistry specialists and pioneers. The event will provide a platform for discussing ways to improve world chemical industries, in light of the global chemistry and environmental challenges. In this regard, Acting Undersecretary of the Oil and Environment Ministry, Faihan Mohammed Al-Faihani, held a meeting with GCA 2022 Chairman, Yousef Al-Marzooq, and several officials. The meeting discussed the ongoing preparations for the world event, which will feature panel sessions, short courses and specialised youth programmes, in addition to a specialised exhibition that will enable companies and institutions to showcase their state-of-the-art technologies and products.
