Bahraini MP calls for balanced growth in oil sector | THE DAILY TRIBUNE | KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

MP Dr. Maryam Al Dhaen yesterday highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to balancing the expansion of its oil industries with environmental protection measures.
In a statement, the MP emphasized the significance of aligning with international commitments, including achieving zero neutrality by 2060.
Al-Dhaen underscored the oil and gas sector’s importance in Bahrain’s economic development and stressed the necessity of launching initiatives and adopting modern technologies to bolster the national economy.
Praising the efforts of HE Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, AlDhaen commended the initiatives aimed at optimizing oil wealth investment and expanding renewable energy use, particularly solar panels given Bahrain’s climatic conditions. She emphasized the role of environmental preservation in enhancing food security and achieving overarching national objectives.
