BIA passes milestone of carbon-neutral facility

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) held a ceremony recognizing airport stakeholders and the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team for their commitment and contributions towards this achievement. BAC Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, who handed out certificates of appreciation at the ceremony, said: “I would like to thank our HSE team and stakeholders for their dedicated efforts and important contributions towards this milestone achievement.” “BAC is committed to operating BIA as an environmentally friendly and operationally efficient airport,” he said. “ACI recently launched a long-term carbon goal study for global airports to reach net-zero carbon emission by 2050.
