BRCS participates in Gulf Red Crescent organizations’ meeting

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) participated in the 18 meeting of the Committee of Their Excellencies, Heads of Red Crescent Societies in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh. The meeting dealt with many topics on the agenda, foremost of which is the contents of the final statement of the Supreme Council in the last two sessions (41-42), which are related to strengthening the relations of cooperation and partnership that exist between the Gulf Cooperation Council, countries, regional and international organizations. The meeting also discussed the outputs of joint work plans, what was agreed upon in the working groups and joint committees that were formed for this purpose, the development of joint work mechanisms, and the reports prepared by them on the efforts of the GCC states to combat the Corona pandemic. The participants approved the proposal of the Kingdom of Bahrain submitted by the Bahrain Red Crescent Society regarding the formation of a coordinating committee between the Red Crescent societies and bodies in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the GCC states.
