Cemex Egypt announces its 2022 achievements

As one of the largest companies operating in the sustainable construction sector in the Egyptian market, CEMEX Egypt announced the milestones it achieved during 2022.

CEMEX Egypt, in cooperation with several partners, is currently participating in the construction process of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project by supplying the project with up to 220,000 cubic meters of concrete products. The company also took part in a range of residential and commercial projects through its various products.

In regard to digital transformation, the company celebrated the 5th anniversary of its digital platform “CEMEX GO", which is the first digital platform in the building materials sector in Egypt and is considered a leap forward for the sector.

On another front, climate action has taken a front seat in the company’s 2022 ride, especially with Egypt hosting the twenty-seventh edition of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), where CEMEX was a main participant in line with its efforts towards climate action.
