The minister’s statements came during her participation in an event organized by the WB on Monday on the launch of CCDR, with the participation of Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad, British Ambassador to Egypt Gareth Bayley, World Bank’s Country Director for Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Marina Wes, Director for Strategy, Risk and Results, Operations Policy and Country Services of the World Bank Stefan G. Koeberle, as well as representatives of relevant bodies and development partners.

She said the Country Climate and Development Report (CCDR) explores the challenges and opportunities for improving the alignment of Egypt’s development goals with its climate ambition.
