It’s been quite the year at Blaze, we have seen ourselves grow our staff by over 30%, have broken into Nuclear with large contract wins, now have three multi million pound wind energy projects under our belts and we’re currently working on a fourth.

So a great year looking at it from a high level but what of the challenges for an SME.  IR35 features largely as does the work around our Carbon Footprint which culminated in Howard and I attending COP26.  It was at the CBI event we heard Tracy Black talk about how it will be the Oil and Gas Supply Chain that will lead the charge in supporting the new greener energy sectors, having learnt their craft offshore.

Being an SME we are nimble and fast paced, we can have someone on a chopper within 4 hours, we have the ability to think on our feet, problem solve in the harshest of conditions and bring new innovation to all the different sectors we now work in that make our supply chain so unique.
